Project exploration trip focusing on renewable energy generation from solar and wind power, including concentrated solar power (CSP), in Saudi Arabia

The expansion of renewable energy continues to gain momentum in Saudi Arabia. Numerous projects in the fields of solar, wind, and CSP technologies are currently in the planning or implementation phase.

Against this backdrop, the German-Saudi Arabian Liaison Office for Economic Affairs (GESALO), in cooperation with Renewables Academy (RENAC), is organising a project exploration trip to Saudi Arabia on the topic of energy generation from solar and wind power, including concentrated solar power (CSP). The initiative is part of the Energy Export Initiative under the Mittelstand-Digital program of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWE).

What to expect:

  • Direct exchange with key stakeholders and project developers in the Saudi energy sector
  • Concise insights into current projects and market mechanisms
  • Targeted networking with relevant partners and potential business contacts on site

Target group:

German companies, particularly from the fields of solar, wind, CSP, energy storage, grid integration, and engineering.
