In cooperation with IHK-Exportakademie GmbH and the Chambers of Industry and Commerce of Baden-Württemberg, the German-Saudi Arabian Liaison Office for Economic Affairs (GESALO) is offering a market exploration trip to Saudi Arabia from February 8 to 10, 2026, focusing on machinery and plant engineering for the manufacturing industry in the pharmaceutical/chemical, automotive, food, and electronics sectors.

Market outlook and opportunities for companies in Baden-Württemberg:
Since the announcement of “Saudi Vision 2030” in mid-2016, Saudi Arabia has been undergoing a major economic and social transformation process. In order to become less dependent on oil, the development of local value chains plays a central role. Particular emphasis is being placed on the chemical, pharmaceutical, electronics, and food sectors, among others. Another emerging industry is the local automotive industry, with a focus on e-mobility, including the first Saudi automotive brand, CEER.
