Delegation Trip with SPOBIS
The Delegation of German Industry and Commerce for Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and Yemen (GESALO), together with SPOBIS International, is organizing a delegation trip to Riyadh from 3 to 5 November 2025 on the topic of the sports industry.
Saudi Arabia is currently investing heavily in sports infrastructure, leagues and major international events. Projects such as the Saudi Pro League, Qiddiya, King Salman Park or the bid for the 2034 World Cup open up a wide range of business opportunities for German companies. The sports sector is considered a central part of Saudi Vision 2030 and is being promoted both to promote health and society and to strengthen the kingdom's international image. For German companies, this offers the opportunity to gain early access to a dynamically growing market.
Objective of the Trip
The delegation trip offers German companies and organizations from the sports sector the opportunity to find out about current developments in the Saudi sports and infrastructure sector, to establish relevant contacts with decision-makers and to explore business potential. Meetings with representatives from sports, business, administration and politics are planned, as well as visits to selected projects. Participants will gain insights into future tenders and investment projects.
