Business delegation of German companies accompanied the visit of Chancellor Olaf Scholz
On September 24th, Chancellor Olaf Scholz visited Saudi Arabia accompanied by a high-ranking German business delegation.
Under the leadership of Dr. Franziska Brantner, State Secretary of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action, German companies from the energy, automotive, aviation and finance sectors met with high-ranking Saudi colleagues.
The high-level business exchange targeted an expansion of Saudi-German cooperation on innovative technologies.
During the delegation’s visit, the German business leaders were further able to discuss the ambitions of the Kingdom's Vision 2030 strategy with female Saudi executives.
Vision 2030 is striving to reshape the kingdom’s economy and enhance female participation. Women currently make up 33 percent of Saudi Arabia’s workforce.
