Organized by GESALO in partnership with HFP Projects, the DFL Deutsche Fußball Liga, and Elements Inspire—under the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy’s Market Entry Programme (MEP)—the trip provided expert sessions and access to top venues like Stuttgart’s Mercedes-Benz Arena and Munich’s Olympic Park.
Delegates also met with senior representatives from the DFL and former UEFA EURO 2024 organizers, gaining insights into event management, legacy planning, and the role of sports in economic development. The experience culminated in attending the UEFA Champions League Final—an unforgettable highlight.
