German-Saudi Cooperation in Jeddah

A central moment of the visit was the opportunity to personally bid farewell to Sheikh Khaled Juffali, Chairman of the Saudi German Business Council, who brought together members of the German business community and the German Embassy Riyadh. His efforts have played a vital role in fostering meaningful dialogue and strong bilateral relationships. We extend our sincere gratitude for the deep and longstanding cooperation we have shared over the years.

As part of the farewell programme, a Business Roundtable at the Jeddah Chamber of Commerce, organised by GESALO, gathered key representatives from the German business community. The discussions highlighted current developments and future economic opportunities, reflecting the strong foundation built through years of partnership.

Our appreciation also goes to Sheikh Mohammed Yousuf Naghi, Chairman of the Jeddah Chamber, for his warm hospitality in hosting a lunch that further strengthened exchange and collaboration in a fitting farewell setting.
A special highlight was the farewell luncheon hosted by Mr. Adel Kurdi (Coperion) in honour of Dr. Dalia Samra-Rohte, celebrating her outstanding contributions, dedication, and leadership throughout her tenure.

This visit not only marked a farewell, but also underscored the enduring strength of the Saudi–German partnership. While we say goodbye, the relationships, achievements, and shared vision built over the years will continue to shape future cooperation.
