The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia covers most of the area of the Arabian Peninsula. With a population of almost 35 million, the kingdom also offers the largest sales market in the Gulf region. With Vision 2030, the kingdom has been undergoing an economic and social transformation process for years, with the aim of further diversifying the economy. The top issues in Saudi Arabia are: Tourism, Health, Renewable Energy and Hydrogen, and Petrochemicals. These fields offer particular business opportunities. Bavaria has had a representative office at the Delegation of German Business for Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and Yemen in Riyadh in Saudi Arabia since August 2020.
About us
Since August 2020, Bavaria has had a representative office at the German Saudi Arabian Liaison Office for Economic Affairs (GESALO). GESALO has been established in Saudi Arabia in 1978 and is part of the AHK network. The Bavarian representative office supports Bavarian companies in their expansion plans to Saudi Arabia and in networking with local business partners.
