Saudi Arabia is playing an increasing role in the logistic sector, driven by the National Transport and Logistic Strategy. Besides logistic zones, the Kingdom aims to become the new logistic hub in the region with the Saudi Landbridge connecting the Red Sea with the Arabian Gulf. The ambitious transportation and infrastructure goals of the Kingdom were showcased on the Inno Trans Exhibition in Berlin.

    As part of the Saudi German Energy Dialogue of the German Ministry of Economic Affairs and Energy, the GESALO co-organised a technical workshop on decarbonization pathways for the steel and cement sectors at King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals - KFUPM, together with the Center for Sustainable Energy Systems and H2-diplo - Decarbonization Diplomacy.
