The agenda covered a wide range of engaging meetings, from ministerial meetings to store visits, allowing delegates to connect with key industry stakeholders. Meetings were held with established players such as SASCO Palm, The Olayan Group, Jazeera, Spinneys, and Lulu Hypermarket. Store checks at various Saudi supermarkets enabled the participating companies to gain insights into product assortments and potential niches. A key highlight was the meeting with the Ministry of Investment and the visit to the Halal Products Development Company, both providing strategic perspectives on market entry and regulatory frameworks.
The journey continued in Jeddah, where the delegation participated in a roundtable at the Jeddah Chamber, one of the Kingdom’s oldest commerce chambers. Further meetings with Danube, BinDawood Holding, TÜV Rheinland, and kabli Holding Co. offered insights into regulatory standards and potential partnerships.
