The high interest of German companies in the MENA region was very evident during the MENA Forum 2025, organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry for Munich and Upper Bavaria. All AHK CEOs of the MENA region gathered in Munich to discuss market opportunities with company executives and experts.

The Forum was opened by the Bavarian Secretary of State of Ministry of Economy H.E. Tobias Gotthardt followed by a keynote of Dr. Guido Steinberg on the geopolitical situation and its effects on the Mena region.

 

Our Delegate Dr. Dalia Samra-Rohte experienced a high interest in the Saudi market from the attending companies. Among them the automotive sector, which was discussed during her panel moderation. Saudi Arabia is setting up an automotive cluster and building its first electric cars with CEER. The project offers tremendous opportunities for German automotive suppliers. Besides CEER she welcomed two German SME, Drei Bond and Zollner. During her participation in the infrastructure panel discussion, moderated by Markus Knupp from GTAI, Dr. Dalia Samra-Rohte showcased upcoming logistic and infrastructure projects.
