Mixed Business Delegation Trip to Riyadh and Jeddah with BW International

The German- Saudi Arabian Liaison Office for Economic Affairs (GESALO), in partnership with BW International, organised a mixed business delegation trip to Riyadh and Jeddah covering key sectors including construction, automotive, engineering as well as tourism.

Saudi Arabia is undergoing an economic transformation that aligns well with the economic landscape of Baden-Württemberg. During the delegation organised by GESALO in cooperation with BW International, participating companies had the opportunity to engage with Saudi stakeholders. The participants had the opportunity to gain insight into ongoing developments at Diriyah Gate Development Authority, KSB Pumps Arabia and Roshn’s SEDRA project. A roundtable at the Riyadh Chamber followed by targeted B2B matching with suitable Saudi companies offered concrete business opportunities.

The trip continued in Jeddah where our participants were kindly hosted by the EL- KHAYYAT Group and further engaged in a roundtable with the Jeddah Chamber to discuss economic structures and cooperation opportunities. Finally, a visit to the German Consulate highlighted Jeddah’s significance for German companies. A tour of the old town of Al Balad, gave real insights into the heritage and history of Jeddah.
