The session brought together German companies and industry representatives eager to explore investment prospects within one of the Kingdom’s fastest growing industrial cities. A representative from the Royal Commission presented Ras Alkhair’s strategic role in Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 framework positioning the city as a cornerstone for mining, mineral processing, and heavy industry.

A Strategic Hub for Industrial Growth

Situated on the Arabian Gulf, Ras Alkhair is an integrated industrial city designed to attract local and international investment in mining related industries. The city offers world-class infrastructure, including a commercial port, power and desalination plants, utilities, and transportation links connecting directly to major markets.

During the webinar, the RCJY representative Mr. Nasir Issa Al-Enezy highlighted Ras Alkhair’s extensive portfolio of mega projects, which demonstrate its vital contribution to the Kingdom’s industrial transformation. These include the Ma’aden Aluminum Complex, the Phosphate Industrial Facilities, and other large-scale projects in glass manufacturing, steel production, and energy-intensive processing. Together, these developments reflect Ras Alkhair’s position as a leading hub for value-added mineral industries.

The webinar served as an effective platform for fostering engagement between Saudi and German companies, providing valuable insights into potential partnerships and future collaboration. Both GESALO and RCJY emphasized the shared objective of promoting sustainable industrial development and technological exchange between the two countries.

This collaboration reinforces GESALO’s mission to highlight Saudi Arabia’s evolving economic landscape and to connect German businesses with emerging opportunities across key sectors including mining, manufacturing, and advanced materials within Ras Alkhair and beyond.
