German Waste Management Delegation 2021

From 06 to 07 December 2021, MENA Business GmbH in cooperation with the German-Saudi Arabian Liaison Office for Economic Affairs (AHK Saudi Arabia) and with the support of the associations RETech (German RETech Partnership e.V.) and BDE (Bundesverband der Deutschen Entsorgungs-, Wasser- und Rohstoffwirtschaft e. V.) as well as the Chair of Waste and Material Flow Management of the University of Rostock on behalf of the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi) conducted a showcase in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. It was a project-related funding measure within the framework of the BMWi market development program for SMEs. The primary target group was small and medium-sized German companies (SMEs). The German companies received a comprehensive insight into concrete business opportunities in the waste and recycling sector in Saudi Arabia. The multifaceted program offered industry-specific data and facts on the target market as well as individually organized information and initial contact meetings with local business partners. 

Goal of the event

The BMWi performance show supported participating German companies in establishing business contacts with selected local business partners who were met in person in Saudi Arabia during the trip.
