Together with the Machinery and Equipment Manufacturers Association (VDMA), The Delegation of German Industry & Commerce for Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and Yemen (GESALO) is organizing a delegation trip to Saudi Arabia from 11 to 13 February 2025 in the field of construction. The trip offers an opportunity for business initiation, the exchange of experiences and targeted networking with local companies and industry experts. 

Current developments and business opportunities in the Saudi construction sector 

Saudi Arabia opens a wide range of opportunities for German companies in the construction industry in a dynamically growing market. Vision 2030 promotes large-scale infrastructure measures, smart city concepts and the construction of modern residential and commercial properties. Megaprojects such as Roshn, Red Sea Global and NEOM exemplify the country's far-reaching economic transformation. While Riyadh is a political and economic center that drives innovation and large-scale projects, Dammam plays a significant role in Saudi Arabia's economic development as an important industrial location and logistics hub.

This delegation trip is aimed at German mechanical and plant engineering companies from the construction industry who want to familiarize themselves with the market structure, make business contacts and explore their market opportunities in Saudi Arabia. 

The trip enables German construction companies to get:

• Networking & exchange of experience: Meeting with German companies that are already active in the Saudi market.

• Insights into Saudi Arabia's industrial infrastructure through a visit to the Industrial City Ras Al Khair as well as a visit to local production facilities of building materials.
