E-commerce is a fast-evolving sector in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (“KSA”) that has seen a continuous upwards trend over the last few years.
As part of the Saudi Vision 2030, on 10 July 2019, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia issued the Electronic Commerce Law (Saudi Royal Decree No. M/126) and on 31 January 2020 the Implementing Regulations (Ministerial Decision No. 200/1441) were issued (“E-Commerce Law”).
The E-Commerce Law applies to all businesses providing goods or services via any electronic platform within KSA or any electronic platform that can be accessed by consumers within KSA. This webinar shall provide an overview of the most notable features of the E-Commerce Law and KSA’s e-commerce landscape as well as the impact on businesses operating in KSA.
