2018 was not only the year to celebrate the 40th Anniversary of GESALO – but also to look back onto 30 years of loyal service to GESALO by our Mr. Hameed. Unfortunately, Hameed decided to finally retire, after a long stretch of excellent support services to us. When Hameed started to work for the German Chamber of Commerce, the Berlin Wall still was intact, and many of GESALO’s employees were not even born yet. As a small sign of appreciation, the Delegate of German Industry and Commerce, Oliver Oehms, handed over a farewell gift today to Hameed. “Enjoy your retirement, and please don’t forget about us back in beautiful Sri Lanka, Hameed’, Oliver Oehms said.
