ZATCA E-Invoicing

Electronic invoicing will be mandatory in Saudi Arabia.

The Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority (ZATCA), formally known as the General Authority of Zakat and Tax (GAZT), recently announced that e-invoicing will become mandatory in the Kingdom starting 4 December 2021. This means that suppliers will no longer be allowed to generate or store paper or PDF invoices.
