Three years since the new Saudi Competition Law and its Executive Regulations entering into force, we have seen two guidelines and increased enforcement of the regime including fining of domestic and foreign companies for infringement.
Furthermore, in June 2021 Kuwait followed the example of Saudi Arabia and introduced turnover thresholds for its merger control regime. Nicolas Bremer will provide an update on regulatory reforms and practical experience with the new regimes.
